APA Style

Your guide to citing and referencing in APA Style (7th edition)

Film

When citing a film, it's not necessary to specify how you watched it (i.e. on DVD, in a theatre, or streaming online).

The director should be credited as the author of the film. In the absence of a director, someone in a similar role (such as the producer or writer) can be credited instead. Make sure to list their role in the film.
