Note:

For the version statement, include the date (as this is how OpenAI is labelling the versions).

ChatGPT is a large language model, and it should be included in square brackets as the descriptor.

ChatGPT-4 is described as a "large multimodal model" -- include this text in the square brackets if this version is being used.

APA suggests including the exact ChatGPT text cited as an Appendix in your paper, as ChatGPT will create a different response for every chat session.
