The Cricut Joy is a cutting machine that can cut delicate fabric, paper and card. to matboard and leather. It has tools for cutting and writing. The Cricut EasyPress Mini is a simple to use, lightweight and portable heat press machine that imprints designs on many materials such as T-shirts and Tote Bags.

Book the Cricut Joy and EasyPress Mini to use in the Makerspace for up to 2 hours per day. 

• If you have never used the Cricut Joy and EasyPress Mini before: Visit the library makerspace to sign a Makerspace Equipment Use Agreement and gain booking privileges. 
• If you have used the Cricut Joy and EasyPress Mini before, please check the availability and then please book the Cricut Joy and EasyPress Mini online at the Progress Library.

PLEASE NOTE: By using the Cricut Joy and EasyPress Mini, the user is certifying that they are capable of using the machine in a safe and proper manner. Makerspace staff can make available manuals or other instructional material; however, they are not experts on the use of the machine.

• Smart Paper™ Sticker Cardstock, Bright Bow
• Glitter Cardstock Sampler, Classics - 12" x 12"
• Cardstock Sampler, Basics - 12" x 12"
• Cardstock Sampler, Jewels - 12" x 12" 
• Transfer Tape
• 8.5' x 11' White or Clear Stickers Paper ($2.00 each)

Apart from the Stickers Paper, the Makerspace provides these materials upon request, availability and within reason. See the list of materials available to use with the Cricut Joy. You will have to provide any other Cricut material with its accompanying Cricut Blade or Tip. • If you are new to the Cricut Joy, visit Quick Start Guide or watch these video tutorials that provide you with an introduction to Cricut Design Space. 
• Get familiar with the machine by watching short videos on the YouTube Cricut Channel.
• The Cricut Design Space is a software that allows you to create or find a design that can be read and cut by the machine. The software can be downloaded on a desktop, and it is also available as an App.
• Download the Cricut Design Space software and create an account! To cut your designs, you can connect your laptop or mobile to the machine via Bluetooth.
