Getting Started

  • The Cricut EasyPress accompanies the Cricut Maker 3, so before using it, create your design by following the "Getting Started" steps on the Cricut Maker 3 LibGuide.
  • Once you have your design, use the Cricut Heat Guide to find out the temperature and time settings that are required for your project. You will need to select the type of Cricut Heat-Transfer material and the type of base material (this would be your T-shirt for example). You will need to select the Cricut Pressing Mat option.
  • Plug in the Cricut EasyPress and power it up.
  • The timer and temperature settings appear on the digital window. To set the timer, press the timer button, then hold down the plus and minus button to select the desired time. To set your desired temperature, press the thermometer button to select the temperature unit, this can either be in Celsius or in Fahrenheit. Then, hold down the plus and minus button until you find the right temperature.
  • The Cricut 'C' button stays orange until the machine reaches the temperature you selected. When the machine beeps and this button turns green, begin your project.
  • Always use the Cricut mat when pressing.
  • If the machine is left unused or unattended for 10 minutes, it automatically turns itself off.
