DEALING WITH DISTRACTIONS

Ways to Improve Your Focus:

Prioritize Self-care

Getting quality sleep, staying hydrated, eating a balanced meal, and staying active can support your mental energy and increase your focus.

Work in 30-min Time Slots

Committing to a 30-minute study session without any distractions can significantly increase your productivity and focus.

Break Tasks Down

It can be overwhelming to think about getting started on that big task. Break down your tasks into smaller, more manageable tasks to help you get started.

Stop Multitasking

Multitasking is a myth. Be intentional about working on one thing at a time to increase your focus and complete tasks.

Use Timers

Use the Pomodoro Technique to help you focus for a short period of time. Pick a task, set the timer to 25 minutes, and work on the task until the timer goes off. Take a 5-minute break, and repeat.
