WHAT DO YOU STUDY?

LEARNING OUTCOMES IN YOUR COURSE OUTLINE

Your course outline provides learning outcomes that are a guideline of what you are expected to learn on a weekly basis.

Review your course outline to identify all of the topics that you are expected to study for your upcoming test.

PRIORITIZE WITH THE STOP LIGHT SYSTEM

The stoplight system is a simple strategy that will help you prioritize what to study for a test. After you have identified the topics that you need to study, prioritize the topics into the following groups:

  • You don't know
  • You somewhat know
  • You know well

Begin your studying with the content "You don't know" first, then study the content "You somewhat know", and finish with studying content "You know well".
