Welcome to the GNED 500: Global Citizenship research guide! Meaningful social analysis requires you to dig deeper into the issue to fully understand the social, cultural, and political context that informs it. Here, you'll find advice on developing your research topic, searching for academic articles and case studies, recommended resources, and tips on writing your citations.

Learning Outcomes

1.  Searching as Strategic Exploration:

Identify a list of keywords specific to your topic in order to retrieve relevant books and articles in a library database for your research assignment.

2.  Information Has Value:

Paraphrase a sentence and provide the APA citation of the source, so to give credit to the original ideas of others through proper attribution and citation.

3.  Research as Inquiry:

Brainstorm and present a working research topic and question to guide your research, reading, and writing of your research paper.
