Welcome

Conference description: With the rise of fake news and the demand from industry for skilled and competent graduates, critical thinking in education has never been more important. Join the upcoming Critical Thinking in Education Symposium to explore how faculty, staff, and educational institutions can develop and promote critical thinking in young learners. Through a systemic and intersectional approach, faculty/staff will lead and participate in various presentations, short talks and workshops on topics related to critical thinking in education.

Conference goals: To strengthen our roles as educators in relation to our students, their needs, and the institution at large; To understand factors that prevent critical thinking amongst young learners; To cultivate critical thinking skills in these learners; To discuss and learn best practice across the educational sector.
