"Remembrance Day is a yearly memorial day that is observed in many Commonwealth countries, including Canada, to remember those who died in military service, and honour those who served in wartime. It is observed across Canada each year on 11 November — the anniversary of the Armistice agreement of 1918 that ended the First World War". (The Canadian Encyclopedia)

Centennial College has a proud annual tradition of marking Remembrance Day. Each November 11, Centennial students and staff have organized and attended meaningful ceremonies at their own home campuses in honour of the Canadian men and women in uniform who fought and died for our freedom.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year we are proud to present the very first unified, virtual Centennial College Remembrance Day event. This pre-taped service was created with the assistance of our Story Arts Centre faculty and students, along with our Paramedic students, and is hosted by our Journalism and Sports Journalism students.
