The idea of giving Indigenous children an education, within the political state of Canada, has taken its course, in practice, into many dark corners, over a wide expanse of time, for which the compounding effects continue to devastate and echo.  This section explores the dark corners of crime and punishment, suicide, depression, addiction, the relationship with Christianity, and the idea of survival.
