What is Lego Mindstorms?

Lego Mindstorms is a robot creation kit that allows you to build a robot using Lego, program your robot, and command it using a smartphone or tablet.

Borrow It!

Click on a piece of technology to see if it's available in the library and place a hold to reserve it. Watch this video to learn how to place a hold. If the item is available, you can also come to your campus library and ask for an item to borrow it. 

Getting Started

1. Build Your Robot

Follow the instructions in your Lego Mindstorms kit to create your robot. You can choose from 1 of 17 designs

2. Program Your Robot

If you're using a smartphone or tablet, download the EV3 programmer app. If you're using a PC or Mac, download the programming software. Once your app or software is installed, program your robot to move or respond to touch.

3. Command and Play

Download the EV3 commander app on your smartphone or tablet to control and steer your robot.
